Hilton Creek Community Services District (HCCSD) is currently seeking either an Operator in Training, or an Operator/Maintenance Technician. Part-Time and Full-Time candidates will be considered. Only one position will be filled, depending on applicant qualifications.

The Hilton Creek Community Services District was formed in 1963 for the purpose of providing public services to the Hilton Creek Community in the Crowley Lake area of Mono County.  The HCCSD is responsible for sewer connections and services, wastewater treatment, and maintaining Juniper Drive Road.

Hilton Creek Community Services District is located in the Eastern Sierra, approximately 15 miles south of the town of Mammoth Lakes, in Mono County, California.     

As an HCCSD employee, you will: perform the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems and auxiliary equipment, including the general maintenance of the wastewater collections system and lift station. Operators will safely and efficiently meet all permit requirements; monitor critical control points within the plant; perform daily plant checks; inspect valves, pumps, and equipment; monitor instrumentation and control systems; operate, trailers, and other equipment; and perform general housekeeping tasks and building maintenance as needed.

On-call, weekends, and holiday shifts will be required on a rotating basis.


Operator in Training/Maintenance Technician: $17.50 – $22.00

Operator/Maintenance Technician: $23.00 - $29.00
